The professional fees for your anesthesiologist’s services are separate from your dental/medical bill.  Our services are available by request by the referring specialist.  Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants are not providers with any commercial insurance company (out-of-network).  A competitive, pre-arranged set fee will be collected on the day of service and applied to estimated charges.  This fee will cover the professional fees of the anesthesiologist, nursing services, medications, medical gases, and resuscitation equipment.   You will be asked to make a scheduling deposit that will cover a portion of these fees and the remainder will be billed 1-2 business days prior to your procedure.  The final bill will be based on actual time.  If the estimated charges are above the actual time, you will receive a refund.  If the estimated charges are below the actual time, you will be billed for the remaining charges.  Our office does not have any specific information regarding pre-authorizations, exclusions, limitations, or waiting periods that may be required by your insurance company.  If you have any questions about coverage please contact your insurance company.  We are happy to assist with any questions regarding our billing.
